Clinical Expertise

Susan knew from a very early age that she wanted to work in mental health, and she has spent more than 25 years doing it — across outpatient clinics, community health centers, and residential programs.

At Our Family Health she provides individual therapy for adults 18 and older, drawing on a career that spans individual and group work, comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. That range means she can meet people wherever they are, whether someone is coming in during the hardest week of their life or working steadily on something they've carried for years.

Susan has spent much of her career building and leading behavioral health programs, including at a community health center serving many of the same populations Our Family Health serves. As Behavioral Health Director, she leads the clinical team here — creating an environment where clinicians are equipped for and genuinely excited about the work.

She believes the best outcomes come from providers who talk to each other: that a patient's therapist, primary care provider, and care team should be working from the same page rather than in separate silos.

Philosophy of Care

"Access to healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Quality care happens through collaboration between all of a patient's providers — and my commitment is to help people reach a real quality of life through treatment that's proven to work."
