Clinical Expertise

Erika Diaz brings more than two decades of healthcare experience across mental health, primary care, acute care, and long-term care. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with full autonomous practice authority in Florida.

Her behavioral health work covers comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, individual therapy, and medication management for both adults and children — including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and psychotic disorders. She is also certified in medication-assisted treatment for substance use.

Alongside that, she practices family medicine, managing conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory illness, and providing women's health and preventive services. That combination matters in daily practice: physical and mental health rarely stay in separate lanes, and Erika can address both in a single visit rather than sending a patient down two separate paths.

She practices in English and Spanish, and works closely with therapists, primary care providers, and support staff to build treatment plans around each patient's circumstances.
